MB 2001 Oilfield Services Ltd. (MB 2001 Ltd.) is a Hungary-based drilling contractor headquartered in Szolnok, providing comprehensive oilfield services to its clients. As one of Hungary’s leading contractors, the company specializes in drilling hydrocarbon and geothermal wells at depths between 1,000 and 3,000 meters, along with well completion, recompletion, and plug and abandonment operations.

What sets MB 2001 Ltd. apart is its ability to independently offer a range of auxiliary services alongside standard oilfield operations. These include casing, hoisting, coiled tubing (CT), nitrogen, and pumping services.

The company was established in its current form in 2001 following the acquisition of MB Petroleum Services in 1997. It is owned by the Oman-based, family-owned MB Holding Company LLC.

MB 2001 Ltd. operates at two locations in Szolnok: our administrative activities take place at our Szolnok office while machnical work is carried out at a separate site, workshop.  The company currently employs 80–100 employees.
